Summary

You can reach the CSRD Reporting editorial team at editorial@csrdreporting.net, the one contact address for corrections, regulatory updates and questions about this site.

This page explains what to send, what the team does not do and where reporting-project requests go instead.

CSRD Reporting is an independent, provider-neutral reference. On this site the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) is explained after its amendment by Directive (EU) 2026/470 (Omnibus I); the CSRD itself is Directive (EU) 2022/2464, a directive that binds the Member States.

How to Write to the Editorial Team

Write to editorial@csrdreporting.net and put the page address and the subject of your message in the subject line, so the editorial team can match it to the right page. In the message, give the page URL, quote the passage or value you mean and add the source if you have one.

Messages are read by the CSRD Reporting Editorial Team. Email to this address is the only contact route. The team does not promise a reply to every message or a reply within a set time.

What to Write to Us About

The editorial team wants two kinds of messages: corrections to what a page says and news of a regulatory change the site has not yet reflected. Both are easier to act on when they name the official text behind them.

Corrections and Fact-Checking Requests

Send a correction when a value, date or article reference on a page differs from the official text. Include four items: the page, the value as written, the value you believe is right and the primary source, which is EUR-Lex or the Official Journal for EU law, the national gazette or the competent authority for national law, and EFRAG for EFRAG material; each claim is checked as set out in our methodology and fact-checking process.

A newer official source takes precedence over the value a page gave earlier, and the page is corrected to the official value.

Regulatory Updates and New National Laws

Tell us when an EU act, a national law or an EFRAG publication changes CSRD reporting rules, ideally with its official reference. Member States must transpose Articles 1 to 3 of Directive (EU) 2026/470 by 19 March 2027 (Article 5(1) of that Directive). The EU limited-assurance standard, which the Commission is to adopt by delegated act under Article 26a(3) of Directive 2006/43/EC as replaced by Article 1(3) of Directive (EU) 2026/470, is not adopted as of 29 October 2026 (due by 1 July 2027). New delegated acts, such as Delegated Regulation (EU) 2026/1563 on the revised (simplified) ESRS, also change pages.

For a new national law, send its gazette reference; for an EU act, its Official Journal reference. National laws are followed in the tracker of Omnibus I laws in the 27 Member States and Norway.

What We Do Not Do: No Advice to Named Companies

CSRD Reporting does not give legal, audit or assurance advice to a named company: it explains what the CSRD, the ESRS and the voluntary standard (VS, formerly VSME) require, and it never tells a company whether it is in scope or what is material for it. A question such as "does the CSRD apply to us" gets no individual answer; the scope pages explain the test for every reader.

The site names, ranks or recommends no provider, auditor or software vendor, on any page.

Help with a Reporting Plan or Project

If you need help with a reporting plan or project rather than a correction, use the request form for independent providers instead of the editorial address. A request can cover CSRD and VSME reporting software, double-materiality and reporting consultants, assurance providers and training providers.

The form is not on this page. It sits with the step-by-step reporting plan for in-scope companies. Requests are forwarded to independent providers. No provider pays to be listed or ranked here; see our editorial policy.

Your Data, Our Policies and About This Site

Emails to the editorial team are used to answer and act on them; data sent through the request form is kept for 24 months, and newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Three trust pages explain the rest.
